These Terms of Use (or "Terms") govern your use of the Serbia Live app (the "Service"), except where we expressly state that separate terms (and not these) apply. By creating a Serbia Live account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
If we show you ads within Serbia Live, these Terms also govern how we use information to display ads that businesses and organizations pay us to promote. The Serbia Live Service is provided by S Media Magnate LLC. These Terms of Use therefore constitute an agreement between you and S Media Magnate LLC.

More About Us
Serbia Live is a platform that emerged from the citizens need for real-time reporting, bypassing mainstream media and their shortcomings in professional journalism, providing the community with information obtained directly from the field in real-time, relying on alternative sources of information.
The platform is based on citizen journalism, where community members play the most significant role in the process of gathering information, while our team members analyze and publish the obtained information.
As a platform that has revolutionized reporting in Serbia, we participate daily in breaking the media darkness and manipulation in the media space, while at the same time cooperating with all media and institutions at the highest level.
In addition to gathering information, community members participate in various discussions describing broader community problems and solutions. They also play the most significant role in solving individual citizens problems, such as finding lost items, pets, and more.
Besides reporting, the platform offers the possibility of publishing instant ads in one of its sections. The ads are divided into categories and groups for easier searching and posting.
Our vision is to present reality as it is through information on our platform, showing the situation on the ground through the eyes of an ordinary citizen and from their perspective.
The Serbia Live Service
We agree to provide you with the Serbia Live Service.
* The Service includes all of the Serbia Live products, features, applications, services, technologies, and software that we provide to connect you with the people and experiences you love.
The Service is made up of the following aspects:
* Offering personalised opportunities to create, connect, communicate, discover, and share. People are different, so we offer various account types and features to help you create, share, grow your presence, and communicate with others. We also want to strengthen your relationships through shared experiences that you care about. We build systems that try to understand what you and others care about and use that information to help you create, find, join, and share in experiences that matter to you.
* Promoting safety, integrity, and security. We develop and use tools and offer resources to our community members that help make their experiences positive and inclusive. Our teams work to combat abuse and breaches of our Terms and policies, as well as harmful and deceptive behavior.
* Developing and using technologies that help us serve our growing community. Organizing and analyzing information is central to our Service. We create and use cutting-edge technologies that help us personalize, protect, and improve our Service on a large scale for a global community.
* Communicating with you. We may need to send you communications, such as emails or in-app notices, to respond to you or inform you about any product-related issues, research, or our Terms and policies.
* Ensuring access to our Service. To operate our global Service, we must store and transfer data across our systems around the world, including outside of your country of residence. This infrastructure is necessary to provide our Service.
* Connecting you with brands, products, and services in ways that you care about. Subject to the choices and settings that you select, we use information from Serbia Live and external partners to personalize your experience, including showing you ads, offers, and other sponsored content that we believe will be meaningful to you.
* Providing and improving the Service. We use the information we have to develop, test, and improve our Service. This includes analyzing user information to understand how people use our Services, conducting surveys, and testing new features.

How Our Service is Funded
You can choose to use the Service for free with ads or to subscribe to use without ads:
* Subscription Option: If you choose to subscribe to use Serbia Live without ads, you won't see ads from us, and we do not use your data for ads. The details of price, currency, and payment period for the subscription will be provided to you before you complete your purchase.
* Advertising Approach: If we show you ads on Serbia Live, we display relevant and useful ads without telling advertisers who you are. We don't sell your information. Advertisers can specify their business goals and the type of audience they want to reach. We then show their ads to users who might find them relevant.
If we show you ads, we provide relevant and useful advertisements based on your interests. We allow advertisers to tell us things such as their business goal and the kind of audience that they want to see their ads. We then show their ads to people we think might find them relevant.
We also provide advertisers with reports about the performance of their ads to help them understand how people are interacting with their content. For example, we provide general demographic and interest information to help advertisers better understand their audience. We don't share information that directly identifies you (such as your name or email address) unless you give us specific permission.
You may also see branded content on Serbia Live posted by account holders who promote products or services.
You can learn about how we collect and use your information in our Privacy Policy, including details on the different types of information that we can use to show you ads. You have controls over the types of ads and advertisers you see, as well as the types of information we use to determine which ads to show you.
The Privacy Policy
Providing our Service requires collecting and using your information. The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information across the Serbia Live platform. It also explains the many ways in which you can control your information, including in the Serbia Live privacy and security settings.
Your Commitments
In return for our commitment to provide the Service, we require you to make the below commitments to us.
Who Can Use Serbia Live
We want our Service to be as open and inclusive as possible, but we also want it to be safe, secure, and in accordance with the law. So, we need you to commit to a few restrictions in order to be part of the Serbia Live community.
* You must be at least 18 years old.
* You must not be prohibited from receiving any aspect of our Service under applicable laws or engaging in payments-related Services if you are on an applicable denied party listing.
* We must not have previously disabled your account for violation of law or any of our policies.
* You must not be a convicted sex offender.
How You Can't Use Serbia Live
Providing a safe and open Service for a broad community requires that we all do our part.
* You can't impersonate others or provide inaccurate information. You don't have to disclose your identity on Serbia Live, but you must provide us with accurate and up-to-date information, which may include providing personal data. Also, you may not impersonate someone or something you aren't, and you can't create an account for someone else unless you have their express permission.
* You can't do anything unlawful, misleading, or fraudulent, or for an illegal or unauthorized purpose.
* You can't violate (or help or encourage others to violate) these Terms or our policies.
* You can't do anything to interfere with or impair the intended operation of the Service. This includes misusing any reporting, dispute, or appeals channel, such as by making fraudulent or groundless reports or appeals.
* You can't attempt to create accounts or access or collect information in unauthorized ways. This includes creating accounts or collecting information in an automated way without our express permission.
* You can't sell, license, or purchase any account or data obtained from us or our Service. This includes attempts to buy, sell, or transfer any aspect of your account (including your username); solicit, collect, or use login credentials or badges of other users; or request or collect usernames, passwords, or misappropriate access tokens.
* You can't send us someone else's private or confidential information without permission or do anything that violates someone else's rights, including intellectual property rights (e.g., copyright infringement, trademark infringement).
* You may use someone else's works under exceptions or limitations to copyright and related rights under applicable law. You represent that you own or have obtained all necessary rights to the content you send us.
* You can't modify, translate, create derivative works of, or reverse-engineer our products or their components.
* You can't use a domain name or URL in your username without our prior written consent.
Permissions You Give to Us
As part of our agreement, you also give us permissions that we need to provide the Service.
* We do not claim ownership of your content, but you grant us a license to use it. Nothing is changing about your rights in your content. We do not claim ownership of your content that you send us, and you are free to share your content with anyone else, wherever you choose. However, we need certain legal permissions from you (known as a "license") to provide the Service. When you send us content that is covered by intellectual property rights (such as photos or videos), you hereby grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, worldwide license to host, use, distribute, modify, run, copy, publicly perform or display, translate, and create derivative works of your content for purposes of making the Serbia Live Service available.
* If we wish to purchase content from you, you will be notified via a message on the platform where we will present our terms for the purchase of your copyrights. If you agree to our terms for purchasing your content, you will receive information about the necessary steps for payment for your content. The terms for purchasing content cannot be predetermined or specified in advance, as they depend on the specific content in question, as well as the time when the content was submitted to us, and therefore the terms will change according to the situation. At the moment we purchase your content, everything you have done with your content up to that point is not considered a violation of copyright, except thereafter, unless we have defined otherwise in our terms for purchase, of which you will be informed before the transaction and your consent to the purchase.
You agree that we can download and install updates to the Service on your device.
Additional Rights We Retain
* If you select a username or similar identifier for your account, we may change it if we believe it is appropriate or necessary (for example, if it infringes someone's intellectual property or impersonates another user).
* If you use content covered by intellectual property rights that we have and make available in our Service (for example, images, designs, videos, or sounds we provide that you add to content you create or share), we retain all rights to our content (but not yours).
* You can only use our intellectual property and trademarks or similar marks as expressly permitted by our prior written permission.
* You must obtain written permission from us or under an open-source license to modify, create derivative works of, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code from us.
Content Removal and Deleting Your Account
* We can remove or restrict any content that you share on the Service if it violates these Terms of Use or our policies, or we are required to do so by law.
* If you violate these Terms of Use or our policies, or if you repeatedly infringe other people's intellectual property rights, we may, without prejudice to our right to terminate for good cause, completely or partially refuse to provide or stop providing the Service to you (including terminating or disabling your access).
* When you request the deletion of your account, the deletion process will begin automatically. During this process, the content is no longer visible to other users or to you (this includes your likes, dislikes, comments, ads, your username, email address, your profile picture, and your messages with other users), while the content you have sent to us (if published) will remain on the platform as content received from an anonymous source.
* Content will not be deleted in situations where deletion would restrict our ability to:
* Investigate or identify illegal activities or violations of our terms and policies.
* Protect the safety and security of our products, systems, and users.
* Comply with a legal obligation, such as the preservation of evidence.
* Comply with a request from a judicial or administrative authority, law enforcement, or a government agency.
* In these cases, the content will be retained for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it has been retained.
Information about General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
We may be collecting and using information from you if you are from the European Economic Area (EEA), and in this section of our Privacy Policy we are going to explain exactly how and why is this data collected, and how we maintain this data under protection from being replicated or used in the wrong way.
